Games I Beat in 2026 — #6: Ocean’s Heart

I love me a Zelda-like. And godbless indie devs, but sometimes you miss. Or sometimes you hit a few targets while missing a whole bunch of other ones.

"Inconsistent" is the word that keeps coming to my mind when I reflect on this game. Dialogue, controls, graphics, menus, music, fights.

The whole thing.

For a game that takes place in a pirate filled world, there is thankfully no water stage or swimming. But there is lots of water you can fall into. And generally if you fall into water you revive at the spot right before you fell. Unless you're in certain puzzle rooms where that could be bad so you go back to the entrance. Unless maybe you've already solved the puzzle so you go back to where you fell in. Or sometimes either happens and I couldn't quite figure out why.

But it was an enjoyable enough romp. I won't be doing the extra side quests or going for achievements, but hey. I had fun.
