Games I Beat in 2025: 18 — Costume Quest

I played this one a bit closer to Halloween because, why not! Let's get into the swing of things. Celebrate! Good Times!
What was I talking about?
This one was fine. An RPG that didn't overstay its welcome. The costumes came at a pace to keep things interesting, and nothing in the game was too difficult or annoying to make me stop playing.
To continue to harp on the "Darling" RPG of the year, this one succeeds in ways that one doesn't. It knows how seriously to take itself, and it knows how to use its mechanics to make an enjoyable game.
And it gets out before overstaying its welcome.
