Games I Beat in 2025: Thank Goodness You’re Here

There was a time in my life when I would come home from work, lie down in bed, put Monty Python’s Flying Circus on and drift off to sleep. I don’t know why that of so many things, but it was relaxing as well as funny.
Anyone who has already played Thank Goodness You’re Here already knows why I mention this.
The absolutely bonkers humour of TGYH was an instant hit with me. Less of a “”game"" in what we have come to know them as in the past decades and more of an experience, you wander around a British town smacking things to “”help"" the townsfolk. The game rewards curiosity, but doesn’t make it too difficult by requiring the player to, for example, “Use Max”.
I fear saying too much will ruin the experience. If absurdist humor is your thing, pick up the game and give it a go.
And hope your favorite shop will never be “closed due to smacky bum bum”.
