Oscar is a Stranger who first appears in Book 3. He’s a Bard who, while wandering around, runs into some of the main characters.
A bit overconfident, Oscar makes a bad first impression and has to earn their trust before he loses some precious equipment.
I don’t have much to say about Oscar because he is one of my newest characters. I know Bards are often seen as the sexiest sexers who ever sexed in Dungeons and Dragons (Satan’s Game!), so I’m trying to play with that but keep it interesting and fresh.
While I feel like I frontload a lot of Strangers' backstories (they are the humans and more of the “insert” characters), I’m trying something different with Oscar. Does that sound ominous? You’ll have to read to find out.
