This was a short and sweet one. Similar to Slay the Princess, and I'm sure other games I have yet to play, you're treated to a short story where your decisions change the outcome.
Yeah, obviously.
The neat part is that when you make specific choices, it unlocks a switch for that character. This switch determines what choices they will make when you're not playing as them.
To not spoil anything, let's say you play through as one character and choose to eat a cookie. Whether or not the cookie is there will impact how the other characters act. So when you're setting up the next play-through, you can choose whether or not that character eats the cookie, even though you're playing one of the other three characters.
And that's pretty much it. You make choices, which lead to more choices for the other characters, and you see how things change. Then it leads to a final ending. Like a video game has.
But it has a pleasant writing style, despite the violent nature it can have. Again, it depends on those choices.
I completed it — that is, I got every single achievement — in less than two hours. But it was still a fun little game. The kind I only hate is that it gets my juices flowing to make something, and I already have enough on my plate in that regard.
So it's a good kind of hate.
