Q is for Queen Majo (A Month of Toshie the Hero Blog Posts)

"My dear warriors," the Queen said as she stood. "As you can see, my husband is distraught by the disappearance of our beloved daughter. Please help us. As a reward, we will do whatever we can to assist you."

Haha, this is how you sneak in Q to this. Always respect queens.
Majo, pronounced "Mayo", is the queen of Unterstone and the mother of Princess Tunasalad and Prince Livervurst.
She's one of the first characters Toshie meets, and is how she gets her first quest. How things go, well, that's another story entirely.
Majo ends up being pretty important with the whole family theme, especially about mothers (of all kinds!) that popped up in Book 1 without me realizing it.
Majo is one of those characters that I wrote out of necessity. (The Hero is going to save a princess. There is a king and a queen.) However, she quickly becomes much more than "just a queen" and is one of the more interesting characters in Book 1 and the upcoming sequels.

Toshie the Hero and the Orbs of Destiny is available now!
Books 2 and 3 will be released in 2025.
