Penguins are one of the communication networks in Vara Elma.
Penguins are capable of traveling through the Aether and are used to take letters and other forms of communication here and there. After doing a task, they ask for nothing but a scratch under the chin.
Where they eat, reproduce, or spend their free time is unknown to the residents of Vara Elma. All that is known is that the Goddess gave the world Penguins to communicate.
Considered closely tied to the Goddess, they are holy beings that are thought to be immortal. Do not hurt a Penguin. They are only messengers.
