No pictures today. Mostly wrote out ideas for the "job system" and then started implementing it.
The idea right now is a party of four characters and four "paths" to pick two from. This leads to six combinations, meaning potential for replay.
Stats and skills will be based off of the selected paths, with bonus skills for the combinations of paths. Whether or not both paths will be open from the beginning or characters will get a second path later on I have yet to decide. I’m leaning towards offering the second one later, though. Let the player get used to what is offered and then add more on top of it. I don’t know. I may be overthinking things.
Anyway, today is a national holiday, so I’m probably going to do less than I should, but I’ll try to do something.
